about the festival

The Palace City Jazz Festival is a non-competitive festival centered around jazz education. This year's event will take place at the Mitchell High School Performing Arts Center on February 9th, 2021

Our unique festival offers the following for directors and students:

1. 30 minutes of performance time and on stage clinic time with professional jazz musicians who are also great educators!
2. 30 minutes of one-on-one off-stage clinic with professional musicians/educators.
3. Workshops/clinics/performances provided throughout the day
4. Final concert featuring guest artists.
5. A non-competitive, educationally-based jazz festival!
