PALACE CITY JAZZ FESTIVAL
February 7th, 2023

The Palace City Jazz Festival is run by the Mitchell High School Boosters group. This non-competitive festival is centered around the education of jazz. Each band receives 30 minutes on stage with 6 clinicians (1 woodwind specialist, 2 brass specialists, 3 rhythm specialists). Each band then gets 30 minutes off stage in a private one on one clinic with one of our clinicians. Our festival is usually held the second Tuesday of February (depending on calendar).

The fifth annual Palace City Jam will be held at the Masonic Lodge in Mitchell on Tuesday, May 2nd..  Tickets will be available for this end of the year jazz celebration at the door that evening.
